Archive for July 2008

Today my parents and I took off in a rather packed minivan for Vancouver.  It was a long, tiring day, but now we’re 2 states closer Canada or something.  I’m taking my parent’s word on this, because, to be honest, I really don’t have the vaguest idea of where we are.  I’ve heard mainly English, so I suspect that we are in the US, Canada, or Great Britain.  It might be foolish to rule out Australia, though.
So far I’ve done a bit of driving, some reading, and a bit of sleep today.  And now I plan to sleep some more.

Here are a few pictures from the day one of travel-- Wisconsin and Minnesota.  I added a few notes where appropriate.

Oops, not done quite yet with the old stuff sketchdump… here are a few sketches of people done for my life drawing class:

…and, lastly, here is some art:

To start things off I’m going to post a bunch of old content so that I’m forced to make some new stuff :D

First to go are some improvisations and a couple other things that I recorded:

Hi there!  Thanks for visiting my blog.

I’m a recent grad from UW-Madison who is now heading out to beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia to study animation at VFS.  I’ll be there for 2 years-- one for the classical animation program and another for the 3D program.  I’ll be there for the 2010 Olympics too.  Not too shabby.

I’m going to use this blog to post things that I’m working on and also other random tidbits.  Of course, I will also express the strong, informed personal opinions ( example: Best color ever-- green ) that you’ve come to expect from me.  I also hope to be your balanced political news source.

In addition, I’m planning on posting a lot of pictures of Vancouver.  It should be fun.
